Welcome to Albyn Medical Practice Online

We are delighted that you are considering Albyn Medical practice for your healthcare needs.

The practice provides National Health medical services to patients in the Aberdeen area.  The practice has approximately 10,500 patients and covers the city of Aberdeen.  The surgery is situated in the centre of the city and easily accessible by public transport from most parts.

New patients are registered from within practice boundaries.  Patients may ask to see any of the doctors at the surgery but home visits are made on a zoned basis.  If a patient moves outwith the practice boundary they will be asked to register with another practice.  Details of the area covered by Albyn Medical practice can be found under the "New Patients" header.

Albyn Medical practice was re-awarded the prestigious Quality practice Award (QPA) by the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland) for the second time in 2007.  We first received the award in 2001 and are proud of the standard of care we offer to our patients.

We prefer to see you in person - but understand that there are times when you need to contact us or get information outside of our usual opening hours. So we have designed you a simple to use website that will not bombard you with information - or confuse you. The main tabs at the top give more information. Now our patients are able to book their appointments online using a simple link in this website and also order their repeat prescriptions if they need to.  We hope you find our website helpful and easy to use but if you get stuck, just give us a ring on 01224 586829 Monday to Friday and one of our team will be there to help

Please note that this is a new website and the areas covered under Further Information are still undergoing development.
